About Aaron
The 2023-2024 school year will be my 27th year of teaching piano as a full-time profession. My studio has approximately 50 students enrolled from ages 6 through 18, and some adults as well. I grew up in West Linn and went to West Linn schools. After graduating High School in 1993, I went to Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. There, I studied with Dr. Jill Timmons and earned a B.A. in Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance in 1997. I have been a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) since 2002. I'm currently a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs. In addition to the enjoyment of my teaching profession, my other interests include basketball (big-time Blazer fan!), woodworking and woodturning, and trips to the Oregon Coast and Central Oregon with my family. My wife, Michelle, is a school nurse in the West Linn/Wilsonville School District. We have two kids, and a Beagle!
